Features and Benefits

Blue Choice includes some of the generic features available in Blue Cross health insurance plan and more. Some of the features available in this plan include extended health care, access to qualified and registered therapists and specialists such as an acupuncturist, massage therapist, naturopath, podiatrist, physiotherapist, speech therapist, chiropractor, osteopath and so forth.

• Blue Choice includes optional coverage such as hospital coverage including $200 per day, 90 days per year, semi-private or private room. The optional coverage can be used to improve your plan as much as possible.
• It also includes dental benefits available for purchase online up to age 74 and also the current ODA free guide.
• Prescription drugs are also available to the insured up to age 6, $10,000 per person per year and so forth.
• Accidental death benefit and loss of use are available to persons under 75. This benefit includes $5,000 per child, $25,000 per spouse or applicant.
• Some other benefits that come with this plan include travel insurance-15 day medical coverage also available to persons under 75.
• The insured will be provided with Blue Cross Assistance Program which includes Partners privileges and discounts, Health Consulting and Support Services, as well as Information and Prevention Services.
• The service also includes access to qualified and registered therapists and specialists such as an acupuncturist, massage therapist, naturopath, podiatrist, physiotherapist, speech therapist, chiropractor, osteopath and so forth.
