The Best Critical Illness Insurance for your Children

Your children deserve absolute protection and it is your responsibility to see that they receive that protection. However, if you are unprepared to handle critical illnesses, you may not be able to properly address your dependents in the event that they are diagnosed with life-altering conditions. It is for this reason that Blue Cross provides the Critical Illness for Children plan. Part of the Tangible Plan line, this unique insurance product provides children and grandchildren under 30 years old with Blue Cross critical illness insurance coverage if they are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Why should I get this plan for my Children?

There are several reasons why you should consider insuring your child.

  1. The benefits you receive from your Blue Cross Tangible Plan can help to cover out-of-pocket medical costs not typically covered by provincial health plans.
  2. The coverage also allows you and your spouse to take a leave of absence from work to care for your child without having to worry about your personal finances.
  3. The plan’s premiums are affordable and guaranteed and last into adulthood.
  4. You can also use the coverage towards non-medical expenses, such as transportation, parking and visits to specialists outside of your area.
