The EssentialPlan is the first of three GMS Insurance products that provides replacement health coverage while you are unemployed. It includes several features that are often not included in government health plans and is designed to ensure you receive benefits when you need them most.

The plan includes:

  • Prescription glasses and eye exams
  • Private duty nursing (80% up to $1,000)
  • Unlimited emergency medical transport
  • Preferred hospital rooms (80% up to $2,000)
  • Accidental dental coverage (up to $2,000 per injury)
  • Funeral expenses on accidental death (up to $4,000)
  • Guaranteed acceptance and no medical questionnaire required
  • Specialized treatments, such as massage therapy, naturopathy and more
  • Dental coverage (80% preventative and basic; 50% major; $1,000 combined maximum)
