You can opt for further protection in the travel plus medical emergency insurance. This coverage has annual plans only but it further includes trip cancellation, interruption, delay and baggage delay and loss benefits. The plan provides comprehensive protection when you are away from home.

Edge’s travel medical emergency insurance provides the comprehensive insurance protection you need when you travel out of your province or away from home.

It provides the insured emergency assistance 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

The plan provides up to $5,000,000 in coverage for reasonable and customary medical expenses to help you treat the emergency medical condition.

You can also opt for the travel plus medical emergency coverage which has further coverage options and benefits such as additional trip cancellation, delay and baggage delay, interruption and loss benefits.

The travel plus medical coverage has an annual plan only.

Terrible! I wouldn’t even leave a star, but you have to at least choose one!I had submitted an insurance policy, and as it was still pending, I cancelled (a few hours later) - over email. I did not receive an email back! I have since sent 2-3 more emails and inquiries from their website to cancel the pending policy. No response!I go on my online banking, and was charged 100+ dollars (which is what I was trying to avoid). I tried to inquire about it, no response!On top of that, I got charged the money - and have not been contacted by a single broker, have not received a single package, have not received any information whatsoever, so basically I got charged money for nothing!Terrible! I do not recommend!

Vary happy with first contact, Ummi and information supplied. Received a quote, very quickly, and advised I would check with my daughter first (I'm 82 years old). Ummi called back next day and everything arranged at a very nice price. Highly recommended, from a happy old man.
