The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show has crowned 113 Best in Show winners in tenure. The show which has spanned three centuries. The 113th dog was crowned on February 11 and 12, 2019.

Theoretically, any breed can win the show but some breeds are known to win more than others. In fact, some breeds win a lot. terrier breeds are known to have won more than 40 percent of the time.

Some breeds have never won the show. Sadly, only Standard Schnauzer has won the Best in Show in the Schnauzer’s family. The other two – miniature and giant schnauzers have not won the show yet.

A Standard Schnauzer named Ch. Parsifal Di Casa Netzer clinched 1997 Westminster Best in Show. Pa, as he is often called, earned about 376 bests of breed, 157 groups and 65 bests in show.
