A Vaughan teen, Daniel Zeno, who died in a deadly crash on New Year’s Day was buried on Tuesday 8, 2019. Zeno was one of the five teenagers in a vehicle that crashed into a tree after veered off the roadway on King Vaughan Road.

Firefighters saved three of the teens from the wreckage but Zeno died in the hospital a day after. The other teens suffered several injuries but they are all expected to survive. Zeno’s friends say that he is a respectable fellow and always had a positive outlook on life.

Zeno, aged 16, was carried from St. Padre Pio Church in Kleinburg Ontario where over 1,000 people gathered for an emotional mass. The family’s spokesperson told CTV News Toronto that Daniel’s death is not just a loss to the family but a communal loss as he has an optimistic and bright future.
