Sudan Travel Insurance News

When everyone thought that Sudan would release Abousfian Abdelrazik, a Montreal man suspected by Canada’s spy agency to be tied to Al Qaeda, a senior CSIS officer told his colleagues in an email that he is jailed forever.

A long-running lawsuit accused Canadian consular officials seeking for the release of Abdelrazik of wanting to cover their asses.

Abdelrazik, his lawyer Paul Champ and the Amnesty International claimed that the classified 2004 CSIS and several other documents in the case show an obvious indifference to the situation that led to his detention and torture in Sudan.

Paul Champ said that the document shows at best that the Canadians are a cynical joke to CSIS and at worst it shows that Canada is involved in the illegal detention of Canadian by the notorious torturers.
