  • InsureNow Plus covers three types of insurance up to age 65, namely, life insurance, critical illness insurance, and accidental disability insurance.
  • The total coverage amount for this plan is between $50,000 and $250,000 (both inclusive).
  • A portion of the insurance benefit will be paid to you if you become disabled due to an accident or become critically ill and the rest will serve as life insurance coverage.
  • You will receive the critical illness insurance benefit if you survive the 30 days waiting period after being diagnosed with critical illness conditions like life-threatening cancer, stroke, heart attack or undergo coronary artery bypass surgery.
  • You will be eligible to an optional extended life benefit if you are past age 65 and no premium will be required of you after age 65.
  • The benefits from this coverage can be used to cover expenses like tuition fees, mortgage payments, childcare costs etc and it allows you to focus on your recovery without being worried about finances.
  • The plan is for Canadians between the ages of 18 and 49 (both inclusive).
  • The plan includes two options: InsureNow Plus Option 1 (with critical illness benefit after age 65 at 50% of your total coverage and accidental disability benefit at 15% of your total coverage) and InsureNow Plus Option 2 (with critical illness benefit after age 65 at 25% of your total coverage and accidental disability benefit at 7.5% of your total coverage).
