Is OHIP cover Travel Insurnce?

You need comprehensive coverage when traveling outside Canada or Ontario to cover for medical emergencies and even trip cancellation. OHIP can only cover part of some medically necessary costs but it is usually incomprehensive. Moreover, the service is also available up to seven days into your vacation.

Goose currently serves and available in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, but it is based in Vancouver. Dejan Mirkovic, Founder and CEO of Goose Insurance Services and the Co-Founder and Director of Square One Insurance Services, said that Canadians will buy travel insurance if it is accessible and affordable.
