Norwich Terriers Pet Insurance News

Westminster Show dogs have tough morning routines. Fox News observed a Norwich terrier, Elizabeth Taylor, through her grooming regime hours, who is competing at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

Their report indicates that the activities were much more intense than an average person’s activity.

Denis Johnson, the Norwich Terrier’s owner and groomer said that it is necessary to think about your dog as an art. “You are painting a picture with your dog, and you want to start with a clean canvas”, he added.

The dog already had a month worth of grooming prep before arriving at the Westminster show venue. The grooming preparations include services for her nails and hair.

Johnson said that upon arrival, he would quickly exercise his dog before getting her ready. After exercising the dog, he then adds his finishing grooming touches.

Johnson began by combing and shampooing the dog, he then washes her extremities and makes her fur look nice and fluffy for the competition.

Elizabeth competed in the Norwich Terrier Preliminary Round but she wasn’t chosen as the Best in Breed winner.
