Miniature Schnauzers Pet Insurance News

Breeder Louise Beggs’ two purebred Miniature Schnauzers have found homes. In response to her plea, each of the puppies was placed with a family. The puppies would normally sell for $1,400 each but Beggs made the two dogs available for free to the right family.

The families will have to work with Beggs to provide her with access to the dogs to show them for some years and breed them. After which, the dogs would become lovable pets for the families.

The puppies comprise a male and a female. The female puppy is officially named Regency XCL’s Queen Victorius or “Queen” for short, while the male puppy is officially named Regency XCL’s King Francis, or “King” for short.

In the beginning years of these agreements, Louis will still retain ownership of the puppies but they will live in the family homes. The puppies will be taken to her when she needs them for showing and grooming. After they have made their mark in the show ring, they will be used for breeding.

When a female dog is about four years old, she retires fully and becomes a family pet but males retire at the age of six, as a stud and become the family pet. The full ownership of the dogs will be given to each of the show home family at this time. The two puppies were bred from Louise’s first champion female dog, “Regency XCL’s Princess Anne” and a distinguished male dog named “Am Ch Can Gr Ch Naibara’s No Question” from Calgary based Naibara Kennels.
