Unified Health, a private health care clinic that had its grand opening in Halifax on September 23 plans to open locations in other parts of Canada. The clinic opened its door to the public on August; it offers several services such as the services of a nurse practitioner, out-of-pocket treatment for non-emergency cases and so forth.

So far, Unified Health operates only in Nova Scotia but it is apparent that it has the ambition to expand. Currently, the company already has a Halifax and Cape Breton district managers respectively.

The Halifax District Manager, Julie Harding, said that the CEO is travelling to other parts of Canada with the intention of speaking with other health care professionals who would want to partner with Unified Health. She clearly stated that Unified Health will open other locations but the company is currently determining where the next location will actually be. She also pointed out that the company is currently partnering with Ohana, a nearby health, and wellness clinic. Due to the partnership, Unified Health is in the process of acquiring a clinic in Bradford and is also doing its best to get three clinics in Cape Breton.
